More about House Thirty:

Where did the name House Thirty come from?

House Thirty’s name is a tribute to our founder Camila Neves’s house number in Brazil, where she grew up. There, she learned from her parents the importance of being sustainable and in touch with nature since she was young. Learning to tend a garden, compost, recycle, and respect the environment are critical factors in her and her family’s values. House Thirty was then created to reflect her upbringing and help people in their path to sustainability.

What is accessible sustainability?

Finding eco-conscious alternatives and products has never been easier. However, it’s often when shopping to wonder how accessible those products are to consumers of all budgets. Maintaining a sustainable mindset when consuming products and services is often linked to being expensive and challenging to maintain habits.

Accessible sustainability ensures eco-conscious practices and information are freely available and affordable to everyone. Socio-economic status, budget, and personal and professional backgrounds should not hinder individuals from joining eco-conscious movements and adopting sustainable practices.

House Thirty was created on the belief that environmentalism should not be a status symbol and that sustainable practices and resources must be freely and readily available to all, regardless of their economic status or other factors.

Affordability, inclusivity, accessibility and imperfect sustainability are the main pillars of our values and mission for a more sustainable future.
